The issue, while not being specific to any particular country or visa category, is leading to delays in printing visas. The issue could also require some applicants to reschedule their visa interviews. Visa applicants may ascertain if their visa interview requires any rescheduling by contacting the respective US Consulate where they are scheduled to attend the interview.
Department of State has assured that it is working urgently around the clock to correct the problems and restore the system to full operational status as soon as possible.
