In the recently published U.S. Department of State Visa Bulletin for October 2013, the EB-2 priority date advanced from 08/08/08 to 09/15/08 in respect of mainland China, but remained at 06/15/08 in respect of India. The EB-2 priority dates remained current in respect of all countries other than India and mainland China. Meanwhile, EB-1, EB-4 and EB-5 continue to remain “Current” for all countries.
In the EB-3 category, the priority dates for professionals and skilled workers advanced from 12/01/06 to 12/15/06 in respect of Philippines, but remained at 09/22/03 in respect of India, and at 07/01/10 in respect of all other countries including China.
In the EB-3 Other Workers category, the priority dates advanced from 06/15/04 to 07/01/10 in respect of China, from 12/01/06 to 12/15/06 in respect of Philippines, but remained at 09/22/03 in respect of India and at 07/01/10 in respect of all other countries.
On the family-based Green Cards front, the F2A Green Card category for Spouses and Children of Permanent Residents retrogressed from being “Current” in the September 2013 Visa Bulletin to 09/01/13 in respect of Mexico and 09/08/13 in respect of all other countries.
