03/04/2004 | What a dull life you must have, for posting something so stupid. I am so happy I'm not you. I pity you. | | Re: | Reinhard
03/04/2004 | If you pursue your plans, you will likely find that they won't ever come to fruition. Bush is anything but liberal on immigration (or anything else for that matter). An amnesty of some sort will likely go through before too long but if you are not even here yet, you won't be able to benefit from it.
Any legislation passed by Congress will be such that recent illegal entries will not be eligible to apply for any benefits. It's always been that way. Plus, there is not even any discussion of opening doors to GreenCards for the illegals here. It'll be work and family visas primarily and that's about it. The family cases will be eligible for GreenCards, the work cases may or may not be.
At the same time, legalizing many long-term illegals in the US will free up the Immigration enforcement officers to hunt down folks that think this is a free pass to break the law. You know, folks like you.
Find a legal route to immigrate into the US and forget these silly plans of yours. | | |
