Where To File I-360

Submit your filing to the USCIS Office identified with your petition category:

  • Self-Petitioning Spouse or Child of an Abusive U.S. Citizen: File at the Vermont Service Center
  • Special ImmigrantReligious Worker: File at the Service Center with jurisdiction over the state where you will be residing.
  • Widow(er): File with your I-485 at the local Office with jurisdiction over your place of residence; if you are filing without an I-485, file the petition at the Service Center with jurisdiction over your state of residence; if you are outside the U.S., and are filing without an I-485, file at the Foreign Office with jurisdiction over your place of residence.
  • Special Immigrant – Military: If you are filing with an I-485, and are in the U.S., file at the local Office with jurisdiction over your place of residence; if you are filing without an I-485, and are in the U.S., file at the Service Center with jurisdiction over your place of residence; if you are filing without an I-485 and are outside the U.S., file at the Foreign Office with jurisdiction over your place of residence.
  • Special Immigrant – Juvenile: File your petition with the local office with jurisdiction over your place of residence.
  • Amerasian: If you are living in the U.S., file your petition with the local Office with jurisdiction over your place of residence; if you are living outside of the U.S., you can either file your petition with the Foreign Office that has jurisdiction over your current place of residence, or you can file your petition with the local Office that has jurisdiction over your intended place of residence in the U.S.
  • Special Immigrant – Physician: File your petition with the Service Center with jurisdiction over your place of residence.

Special Immigrant – Panama canal: File your petition with the Service Center with jurisdiction over your place of residence.


I-360 Special Instructions

There will be no fee for:

  • Amerasians; however, Amerasian sponsors must pay the $80 biometrics services fee (Box 2a on the form);
  • Self-petitioning battered or abused spouses, parents or children of U.S. citizens or permanent residents (Box 2i or 2j on the form);
  • Special Immigrant Juveniles (Box 2c. on the form); or
  • Iraqi Nationals who worked for or on behalf of the U.S. Government in Iraq (Box 2l on the form).
  • For all others, the fee will be $375.

Note: Religious Workers may not file Form I-360 with Form
I-485

Attestation for Special Immigrant Religious Worker Classification

Effective November 26, 2008, all petitioners filing the I-360 petitions for special immigrant religious workers are required to submit the Employer Attestation contained in the Form I-360. If applicable, the petitioner is also required to submit the Religious Denomination Certification contained in the Form
I-360. Please refer to the form’s instructions for further details.

Special Immigrant – International Organization Officer or Employee and Family Members: Use the addresses listed below when mailing Form I-360 and associated forms and correct fees, to USCIS. Please note that there is a different address if you are filing only Form I-360, if you are filing it concurrently with Form I-485 or if a Special Immigrant International Organization Officer or Employee and Family Members I-360 has been previously approved.
