IR5 And CR1 Visa Interviews New Location Is Mumbai

The U.S. Embassy in New Delhi will now no longer process IR5(Parent of a U.S. citizen), IR1/CR1 visa (spouse of a U.S. citizen), IR2/CR2 (unmarried minor child of a U.S. citizen) visas from April 1, 2018.

The U.S. Consulate General in Mumbai will be the interview location if the person is in process for an IR1, IR2, CR1, CR2 and IR5 and the interview is scheduled on or after April 1, 2018. The letter from the National Visa Center will specify the location of the interview, along with other details about interview preparation.
