H-1B Master’s Cap: When A Master’s Degree Is Not Enough!

To qualify for the H-1B Advanced Degree Exemption or “Master’s Cap”, you must have obtained a qualifying Master’s degree or higher from a qualifying U.S. institution of higher education as of the filing date of the H-1B petition (not the registration).
