H2B Cap For First Half Of FY 2018 Reached

The statutory H2B cap for the first half of FY 2018 has been reached.

USCIS has announced December 15, 2017 as the final receipt date for new H2B petitions requesting an employment start date before April 1, 2018. USCIS will reject new cap-subject H2B petitions received after December 15 that request an employment start date before April 1, 2018.

USCIS is currently accepting cap-subject petitions for the second half of FY 2018 for employment start dates on or after April 1, 2018.

USCIS also continues to accept H2B petitions that are exempt from the cap, including petitions on behalf of current H2B workers in the U.S. requesting an extension of stay, change in terms of employment, or change of employers.

What VisaPro Customers Are Saying

I am pleased to write a review of my experience with VisaPro, who helped me get my green card. I discovered VisaPro with a web search and arranged an interview with [the Attorney], who quickly ascertained upon reviewing my CV that I wasting my time exploring an O-1 visa but rather I should be looking at the EB-1 category: Alien of Extraordinary Ability. Overall this is a great team who really know what they are doing. One cannot go wrong in using them for your visa needs.
