Visa Waiver: CBP Update On New I-94 Website Feature And Email Notifications

CBP has launched two new traveler compliance initiatives to make it easier for Visa Waiver Program (VWP) travelers to check the status of their stay in the United States and remain in compliance with the terms of their admission.

1. A “View Compliance” tab added to the I-94 website allowing VWP travelers to check the status of their admission to the United States, and the number of days remaining on their lawful admission or the number of days they have remained past their admitted until date.
2. An email notification from CBP to VWP travelers who are still in the U.S. 10 days prior to the expiration of their lawful admission period.
