FY 2022 H-1B Cap: USCIS Conducts Second H-1B Lottery

USCIS has conducted a second H-1B lottery for FY 2022!

USCIS has sent notifications to certain employers and their immigration attorneys informing them that certain H-1B cap registrations submitted by them in March 2021 have been selected for submission in a recently conducted selection of reserve registrations. The second H-1B lottery was held on July 28, 2021. Registration Selection notices for these newly selected reserve registrations mention that H-1B cap petitions for these newly-selected registrations must be filed between 08/02/2021 and 11/03/2021.

USCIS has updated the myUSCIS accounts of petitioners whose registrations have been selected in the lottery. Employers who have submitted an H-1B cap registration in March 2021 may login to their USCIS online account and check the status of their H-1B registrations for new selections. For the H-1B cap registrations newly selected now, employers must make sure to print the selection notice, and follow the instructions given in the selection notice for submitting the FY 2022 H-1B cap petition, including instructions regarding the place of filing and filing deadline.

We will continue to monitor the developments related to new FY 2022 H-1B lottery and will keep our readers updated.

What VisaPro Customers Are Saying

I am pleased to write a review of my experience with Visapro, who helped me get my green card. I discovered Visapro with a web search and arranged an interview with [the Attorney], who quickly ascertained upon reviewing my CV that I wasting my time exploring an O-1 visa but rather I should be looking at the EB-1 category: Alien of Extraordinary Ability. Overall this is a great team who really know what they are doing. One cannot go wrong in using them for your visa needs.
